Course structure
CAS has devised and formulated the course structure of HND Art and Design, which is a 2 years program in four semesters keeping in view the overall program requirements, pre-requisites and its different specialisation routes as below:
Progression
The Art and Design qualification is designed to address an increasing need for high quality professional and technical education pathways at Levels 4 and 5, providing students with a clear line of sight to employment or progression to further higher education study. It equips learners with practical skills, creative thinking, and industry-relevant knowledge that align with current market demands. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing students to build a strong portfolio that showcases their artistic and technical abilities. Additionally, it fosters innovation, critical analysis, and problem-solving skills, preparing students to adapt to the evolving creative industries. Graduates of this qualification are well-positioned to pursue diverse career opportunities or advance into specialized degree programs.
Upon completion of the 2 nd year, students will achieve HND in Art and Design, awarded by Pearson and can progress to 3 rd year at UK University.
Study mode and intake
Duration: 3 years (2 years at CAS and 3 rd year at UK University)

Year 1 (at CAS) Year 2 (at CAS)
Year 3 (at UK University*)
3 rd Year modules/unit will be shared once the student has chosen his choice of UK University and course.
Upon completion of the 3 rd year in UK, students will achieve full BA Art and Design degree and can apply for 2 years Graduate Visa .
12 years education (FA/ FSc / A Levels)
IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each element or equivalent (required before joining the UK University for 3rd year in UK)
Students will be provided work placements throughout the program to enable you to get industry knowledge in parallel to the studies.
