Instructions for Authors

Original research papers, review articles, technical reports and short communications in all aspects of Agriculture, Biology, Information, Health & Life Sciences, Zoology, Geology, Humanity, Social and Applied Sciences etc., can be submitted on the understanding that the work has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Submission of Manuscript

It is recommended to submit your manuscript in MS Word format through the email address editorial@elysian-journals-demo.org for a quick evaluation process. After acceptance, the author may move the article to any of the other Elysian journals within the same scope.

Style of Manuscript

Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise and grammatically correct English. Indent new paragraphs. The manuscript should be presented in the following order:

  1. Headings — Headings should be in upper case and in bold type. Sub-headings should be in lower case, and sub-sub-headings should be in lower case and in italics.
  2. Figures — All figures should be high resolution and supplied along with their captions.
  3. Tables — Numbered in order in the text. Tables should be in text form and not shown as an image.
  4. References — Bibliographic references in the text appear like [1, 2 …], using square brackets. References should be numbered consecutively in the text.

Abbreviations, Units, etc.

Authors should follow internationally agreed rules, especially those adopted by the IUPAC-IUB Commission on Biochemical Nomenclature (CBN). The journal will essentially follow the rules defined in the IUPAC Manual of Symbols and Terminology for Physico-Chemical Quantities and Units (Butterworths, London, 1970).

Proofs

Proofs will be sent via e-mail as an Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format) file. Acrobat Reader will be required in order to read the PDF; this software can be downloaded free from Adobe. This will enable the file to be opened, read on screen and printed out so that any corrections can be added.

Processing & Withdrawal

  1. After acceptance, authors are required to pay the processing and handling charges.
  2. If, after acceptance, an author wishes to withdraw the article, the author must still pay the processing and handling charges.
  3. If authors do not respond within six weeks after the proof and invoice are sent to them, Elysian shall have the authority to publish the article in any Elysian journal related to the article's scope, to update the current issue of that journal.
